Wild Horse Spirit Ltd. is a wild horse advocacy organization committed to

• the humane treatment, rescue and rehabilitation of injured or jeopardized wild horses;
• the preservation and protection of wild horses in a free roaming state on public and private lands;
• rigid adoption guidelines to prevent eventual destiny to auction and slaughter;
• the education of wild horse adopters and general public about wild horses as this country's "Living Symbols of Freedom" (Craig Downer)
• their essential roles in maintaining a naturally balanced ecosystem on western lands

A lifetime friendship between the adopter and wild horse is our commitment.

Wild Horse Spirit Ltd. is dedicated to providing education to adopters and concerned citizens, referral information including resistant-free training, veterinary, feeding and safe horse keeping.

We keep track of herds on public and private lands with the goal to keep them safe and out of trouble. Wild Horse Spirit Ltd. provides speaking at stables, public meetings and schools. We adopt wild horses to pre-qualified adopters working with other groups, one of which is VRWPA, and maintain contact with those horses. We are dedicated to and work with other organizations who have our same concerns and goals.

We usually have a booth each year locally where we talk personally with adopters and other interested citizens and distribute information about the plight of wild horses in our country.

Constant vigilance is a must to protect and preserve free-roaming wild horses.
