George Fruehan
Honorary Secretary of the Hunt George resides in Janesville, California and is a retired accountant. He
is 80 years young and is an avid member of the Red Rock Hounds Hunt Club. He has been
hunting with Lynn Lloyd since 1982 and is still hunting with her.
He attended the Rose Bowl Parade
with Lynn's entry in 1984.
Lynn describes George as
"
a real asset to the hunt. He also handles the timing twice a year for the Red
Rock Hunter Pace."
The Board of Directors from the
Masters of the Foxhounds Association held their annual meeting in Reno, Nevada for the
first time in October, 1994. The meeting and hunts were held at the kennel fixture north
of Reno, the home of Lynn Lloyd and the Red Rock Hounds. This was a fast-paced,
exhilarating hunt amid striking fall colors in the Nevada high desert. This black and
white photograph of George was taken during one of those special hunts.
George is a very interesting man to
talk to as he has done so much in his life. It is fascinating to listen when he shares his
experiences with you. |
