$35,000 Reward Offered for Arrest of Person(s)
Responsible for Killing 34 Estray Horses  

"The reward for the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the killing of 34 estray horses near Lockwood isr $35,000," announced Lydia Hammack, President of the Virginia Range Wildlife Protection Association.  She said the calls are still coming in and people are sending checks to contribute to the reward fund.   The fund has been capped at $35,000 as of 1/8/99.
