- Begin systematic presentations to Loyalton Elementary School.
- Presentations to Loyalton High School, combination of grades.

- Presentations to Downieville School, each class completed.
- MCAH notified "Crusade Against Violence" has been selected as an award
recipient for MCH State Conference in May, 99.
- Sierra County MCAH "Crusade" represented at booth at Reno, NV Disaster
Preparedness Training.

- Presentation to PTO at Loyalton Elementary School
- Presentations scheduled for all grades at Pliocene Ridge School
- MCAH "Crusade" will be represented at a table at Reno, NV at Emergency Fair at
Parklane Mall.
- MCAH "Crusade" staff will accept award for this innovative program at MCAH
State Conference. Will also be providing a workshop for an hour and a half in the Grand
Ballroom at the Double Tree Inn, Sacramento. Also providing a 4 x 8
photographic display. Also presenting a 5 minute slide show with music about the
crusade.

| June, 1999: |
- Two Round Table Discussions being held (Loyalton, Downieville) for the purpose of
education and exchange of information within the county.

Throughout this past year, we have continued to research and refine the
"Crusade." Presentations are age appropriate. Teacher evaluations are sought
after each presentation. Student comments are also collected from Jr/Sr High students.
We have been extremely fortunate to collaborate with the Town of Truckee, Animal
Control. Officers have participated in the presentations and been the source of valuable
information and support regarding the need for this type of program.
