Barbara Beans Riding Beau Le Mexico Brings
Home First From Indio Desert Circuit IV |
Feb. 22, 1998 - Franktown Meadows Trainer Barbara Beans,
riding Jennifer Smith's Beau Le Mexico, brought home First Place for the Schooling Jumper
Division Class # 204 from Indio's prestigious Desert Circuit IV.There were 87 competitors
in the Class.
The Desert Circuit is a world renown show jumping event that
attracts top international and nationals competitors. |

Beans, along with Aimee Lafayette, Amy Binney, Judy Findeisen and Rene Vercelli. from Franktown Meadows Equestrian Center, traveled to Indio to
compete in this year's Circuit.
The Desert Circuit, a seven-week hunter/jumper show, first began in Indio in 1992. This year's
Circuit featured the $150,000 Grand Prix of the Desert, America's Richest Show
Jumping Purse.
Originally from the East Coast, Beans moved West 12 years
ago. She started riding and competing at age 5. She came to the Carson Valley area
for a vacation, only to realize that it was where she belonged. She has made this
her home for 12 years now and says she hopes to live here forever. Today she trains Hunt
Seat Equitation, Hunters and Jumpers at Franktown Meadows Equestrian Center. Barbara Beans Resume
