Three Arrested in Horse Slayings

January, 1999 -After just 17 days of investigation by the law enforcement agencies in Northern Nevada and an appreciated "tip" from a civilian overhearing conversation at a social gathering, three suspects have been arrested and charged with various criminal acts against the horses that were killed.

A 21 year old male was arrested at his job site in northern Nevada on January 12th, and two other males, both from this area, but now enlisted personnel in the US Marines stationed in California, have also been arrested and charged.

One of the suspects will be arriving in Reno shortly to answer the charges brought against him, the other suspect is fighting extradition.
