Emergency Animal Rescue Service (EARS) Team Helps Rescue and Care for Homeless Animals in Wake of Oklahoma Tornadoes

The Moore shelter is in desperate need of supplies to help care for the disaster victims. Supplies can be delivered or mailed to the Moore Animal Shelter, 3900 East Service Road, Moore, OK 73160. The following are the items needed at the shelter:

  • dog and cat food
  • cat litter litter boxes and scoops
  • collars and leashes
  • aluminum feed dishes
  • metal buckets
  • Polaroid 600 film grooming
  • shears and hair dryers
  • duct tape
  • and zip ties

EARS is a program of United Animal Nations, a non-profit animal advocacy group based in Sacramento, CA. Anyone wishing to make a donation to help support EARS’ relief efforts for the animal victims can mail the donation to: UAN, P.O. Box 188890, Sacramento, CA 95818. Call UAN at (916) 429-2457.  Please note that the donation is for the Oklahoma Tornado Disaster Relief Fund.
