| How I got Started in the Horse World My first job was running a pony ride for money, then I worked for my first horse's board. I ended up riding for a horse trader, doing ride-ins at the horse sales for him, and then working for the horse sales.
I stand my own stallion for
breeding and a friend of mine endurance races him when he is not with his harem.
Everyday every horse and person I deal with teaches me something new -- good and bad! But I get the biggest charge out of watching a kid or even a grownup get their first ribbon at their first show.
