I anticipated your arrival for months, but you were gone in 24 hours. You were an almost constant companion for me…..I cannot replace you, as a friend or a work partner.

I miss our nightly walks together to make sure all the rest of the horses were locked up. I miss you trying to raid the feed room when my back was turned.

I miss our rides in the field and in the arena.

Most of all, I will miss you at the next horse show - particularly in trail. You were so much fun and we did so much together.

Thank you for winning my belt buckle. Thanks for helping all those kids win year end awards. Thanks for all the plaques and ribbons we won together through the years.

Tiger misses you a lot. He is still looking for you to come and harass him at night. So does Oreo. Who will babysit all my colts now?

For thirteen years you have been my best friend…I miss you everyday. Happy Trails, Old Friend.
