It's time to hit the trail!
Spring and the Easter Bunny made it through
the winter, and so did we. Come ride with us on.....SATURDAY, APRIL
11,1998..... the day before Easter. We'll start at 10 A.M. from our
trailhead just south of Dayton, Nv. and make a loop ride up out of El
Dorado Canyon into the Pine Nut Mountains. Along the way, we'll stop for a
hot lunch and the WACKY WABBIT WOUNDUP!
While your hosts incinerate
lunch, riders will seek out the scattered parts
of a dismembered rabbit (No live rabbits will be used in this deal, not
even virtual reality ones.). Two dollars of the ride fee will be thrown
into a Wabbit Jackpot, and the person or persons who present the completely
assembled bunny at the campfire will get the pot. It is unlikely that one
person will find all the bunny parts. Therefore, riders and bunny part
finders will be able to (or will have to) banter, barter, trade, and
finagle with each other to form some kind of coalition to claim the prize.
How it gets divided in the winning group is up to the members. It should
be interesting. For instance, is a bunny ear holder entitled to as much a
share of the pot as the guy with a whole leg? How about the lady with the
whole head?
Ride Fee:
Ride your own horse .........$22.00 ($2.00 to the jackpot)
Ride Tin Cup horse............$62.00 ($2.00 to the jackpot) |
Tin Cup horse riders MUST be
of INTERMEDIATE ability to do this ride.
