The El Dorado County Sheriff's Office in South Lake Tahoe is looking for sound, healthy horses to join its Mounted Patrol Program. If you are a horse owner and have considered donation as a way of finding a happy home for your horse, give us the chance to make you part of our team.

Horses offered for adoption should be geldings or mares, at least 15 hands in height, free from disease or unsoundness, calm in disposition and able to work safely with people and other horses. (Quarter horses or Quarter-Xs preferred.)
