After his surgery on December 12, 1998, "Topper’s" progress was measured by the hour for the first few days. Then his recovery was measured day by day. After three weeks at the clinic, the vets pronounced him well enough to go home!

"Topper" was sure glad to see the horse trailer pull in! He was really happy to be home, even if he is still on stall confinement and hand walking.

As of today 12-31-98, he is feeling wonderful and behaving normally. "Topper" is a very lucky and very determined horse!
