About Horses...
| Her photographs have been
published in The Chronicles of the Horse, PetFolio, and The Corner Post. One of her larger
hunt pieces entitled "The Downhill" is displayed in the Board Room at Morven
Park in Virginia. Vickee loves the challenge of taking the "hard to get" shots
of horses working hard and |
playing hard. "My goal is
to capture that special personality of each horse on film. Thats why my favorite photo is of my own horse, Milo. He was playing with
me and being inquisitive about my camera. He peered through my lens and into my heart.
When I looked back I viewed deep within his soul." |

| Vickee admits, "I have been
extremely fortunate with my photography. I met two very special professional photographers
who became my mentors. I will always have the greatest admiration for them and their work
and am proud to also call them my friends. Jim Taylor and Dee Beaugez |
epitomize photographic
professionalism. Their belief in my work is unshakable."Vickee is limiting herself to
free-lance photographic projects. She confesses, "I enjoy the experience of shooting.
I see and feel the right shot. I have been told that my love for animals
and horses transcends through the camera lens and helps me to capture life-like
images." |
