    Waterproof page with phone numbers (don't forget an out-of-state contact person), where and how to turn off utilities, and post earthquake meeting place.
  • Three-day Supply of Food
    Choose food that does not require refrigeration.
    Date all food items
    Write out menu for each day
  • Suggested foods (1/2 pound per person daily)
    Canned tuna, canned beans, n0onfat dry mile, canned juices, crackers, powdered juice mixes, graham crackers, dried apricots, peanut butter, granola bars, and pet food
  • Bedding
    Sleeping bags or blankets
  • Plastic sheet or tarp
    Infant supplies if necessary

  • Place pack in convenient place known to ALL family members.   Keep a smaller version in the trunk of your car.
  • Keep items in airtight bags.
  • Change stored water every three months.  Check and rotate food every six months.  Mark Schedules for changes on your calendar.
  • Re-think kit once a year
